Directions to Thornfield

Arrive at Hancock Airport in Syracuse, which is just about 25 miles from Cazenovia. Allow about one hour to make the trip to and from Cazenovia.

Airport entry signs direct travelers to I-81. Travel SOUTH on I-81 to I-690 EAST. Follow this to I-481 SOUTH to exit 3E Fayettville. Travel east on 5 and 92 for approximately one mile and then follow 92 through Manlius and on to the intersection with West Lake Road. About 7 miles from Manlius

From Syracuse: Take Rte 690 EAST to the end where it feeds into I-481. Use I-481 SOUTH to 3E Fayettville. Travel east on 5 and 92 for approximately one mile and then follow 92 through Manlius and on to the intersection with West Lake Road. About 7 miles from Manlius.

From the West: Use the New York State Thruway (I-90) to Exit 34A at which point there is an interchange with I-481. Take I-481 SOUTH to 3E Fayettville. Travel east on 5 and 92 for approximately one mile and then follow 92 through Manlius and on to the intersection with West Lake Road. About 7 miles from Manlius.

From the North: Travel SOUTH on I-81 to the interchange with I-481 (Exit 29 at North Syracuse). Use I-481 SOUTH to exit 3E Fayettville.. Travel east on 5 and 92 for approximately one mile and then follow 92 through Manlius and on to the intersection with West Lake Road.

From the South: Travel NORTH on I-81 to Exit 15 at Lafayette and EAST on Rte 20. Turn LEFT at the blinking light onto Rte 92. Travel about 1-1/4 mile and turn RIGHT onto West Lake Road.

From the East: Take the New York State Thruway (I-90) to Exit 34 at Canastota. From there, follow Rte 13 to Cazenovia.

From Cazenovia: Take Rte 20 WEST. Drive through the village of Cazenovia to the blinking light. ( The Brae Loch Inn will be on your right.) Turn left at the Brae Loch Inn and take the next right at the light. This is Rt. 20 West. Follow Rt. 20 West and, at the blinking light, turn right on Rt. 92. Travel on Rt. 92 for approx. one mile and turn right onto West Lake Road. The Thornfield entrance will be approx. 1/3 mile down West Lake on the right. Thornfield is on the west side of Cazenovia Lake on WEST LAKE ROAD. A Thornfield sign is on the corner of the West Lake Road and Rte 92 intersection. It is small in size in order to comply with town zoning ordinances, so watch for it.
