The Diocese of CNY has launched a program for the local training of deacons, priests and lay pastoral leaders (lay vicars). Starting this October, candidates for all three callings will begin a year of local preparation using a common core curriculum.

      After this first year, candidates will pursue a specialized curriculum track leading to the diaconate or priesthood. The Diocese has formed a partnership with Bexley Hall whose seminary faculty will be instructors in the program. An ad hoc committee of the Commission on Ministry is now working with Bexley Hall to continue to develop the curriculum.
